TreeTank Ads Ads Baby

Last updated:

The plugins are free and open source. You run them on your own computer and connect your own ad and analytics accounts, so you stay in charge of every change they make and every budget they touch. These terms explain what that means in practice.

These terms are an agreement between you and TreeTank (Jacek Mariański), referred to here as “I” or “me”. They cover the Ads Ads Baby plugin family: Google Ads Baby, Meta Ads Baby, Google Analytics Baby, Report Baby, and Marketing Context MCP, together with the Ads Ads Baby marketplace hub. They also cover the services I run so that the plugins work without extra setup: the shared Google OAuth client, the shared Meta app, and the Meta login callback page.

By installing a plugin or signing in through one of my shared apps, you accept these terms. If you use a plugin on behalf of a company or a client, you confirm that you are allowed to accept them for that organization.

The source code of every plugin is published under the MIT License (opensource.org/license/mit). These terms do not limit any right the MIT License gives you. You can read, modify, fork, and redistribute the code under that license.

The rules below apply to how you use the plugins with real accounts and to my shared apps. If you fork a plugin and use your own OAuth client or Meta app, the platform terms still apply to you, but my shared apps are no longer involved.

The plugins are free. There is no account, subscription, or payment. I am not the reseller of Google or Meta services: any ad spend is billed by those platforms directly to your ad accounts.

I maintain the plugins in my own time and do not promise any availability, response time, or support level. Google and Meta change their APIs, limits, and approval rules, so a feature may stop working until I update it, or permanently.

The plugins act with your own credentials, so the results are your responsibility. In particular:

  • Connect only accounts you own or are authorized to manage, and only within the permissions the owner has granted you.
  • Read the preview of every change before you reply with the safe word. A confirmed change goes straight to your live account and can spend real money. Meta has no sandbox.
  • Keep the safety hooks enabled. They exist to stop an AI assistant from confirming a change on its own.
  • Keep your computer, tokens, and developer credentials secure. Anyone with access to the local config directories can act on your accounts.
  • Check the analyses, recommendations, and reports before you rely on them or send them to clients.

The plugins are tools for AI assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor. Assistants make mistakes: they can misread data, choose the wrong account, or suggest a harmful change. The confirmation flow reduces this risk, but the final decision is always yours. The terms and privacy policy of the assistant you use also apply.

Using the plugins does not change your agreements with Google and Meta. You agree to follow them, including:

  • Access or change accounts without authorization, or use the plugins to collect other people’s data.
  • Create ads that are deceptive, illegal, or against platform policies, or use the plugins for spam or fraud.
  • Bypass platform rate limits, security measures, or the plugins’ confirmation flow when using my shared apps.
  • Extract, share, or reuse the credentials of my shared OAuth client or Meta app outside the plugins.

I may limit or end access to my shared OAuth client or Meta app, for everyone or for a specific user, if a platform requires it, if I see misuse, or if I stop maintaining a plugin. When I can, I will announce it in advance in the plugin repository. You can always continue with your own OAuth client or Meta app.

The plugins are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, as the MIT License also states. I do not guarantee that they are error-free, that they suit your purpose, or that their numbers match the platform interfaces exactly.

To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for losses resulting from using or being unable to use the plugins. This includes ad spend, lost revenue or profit, suspended or restricted ad accounts, lost data, and decisions made on the basis of their output.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for damage caused intentionally, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including the mandatory rights of consumers.

The plugins collect data from Google and Meta and process it on your computer; TreeTank operates no servers that receive it. What data is collected, how it is used, and every network connection the plugins make are described in the privacy policy: treetank.net/privacy/ads-ads-baby.

I may update these terms, for example when a platform changes its requirements. I will change the date at the top and describe significant changes in the plugin changelog. If you keep using the plugins or my shared apps after an update, you accept the new version. If you do not agree, stop using them or switch to your own credentials.

These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
